    Mon 22 Nov 2021

This year we are delighted to be working with Broadstairs college in a variety of ways. They are very kindly raising money for our PTA project of renovating one of our play areas. Last week the catering team and their students laid on 3 course dinners for staff to buy. This raised £158 to go towards the Playground project. We would like to say a huge thank you, and are looking forward to many more opportunities we have planned this year to work together.

  • Poppy Delevingne and Save the Children visits Cliftonville

    Tue 16 Nov 2021

We are proud to announce that Cliftonville Primary and Pre-School has achieved the Award Place 'Wellbeing award' for schools. This has been a whole school initiative along with parents and pupils and local partnerships to work towards this achievement. Today Poppy Delevingne visited us as part of her work as ambassador for Save the children. Over the last two years we have worked very closely with the charity and their linked group the 'Margate Early Learning community'. This vital partnership was a huge part of us achieving the 'Wellbeing Award' which has enabled us to provide schemes such as counselling for parents, parenting courses and laptops during lockdown plus much much more. Poppy presented us with the award and it is now proudly displayed in the Wellbeing Hub House and School Reception area.

Although we have achieved the award we recognise that we still have much to do in furthering the support we can give to all our community. If you are in need of support in anyway please do email on psa@cliftonvilleprimary.co.uk. If you can offer any services to us to support our community further we would also love to hear from you.

    Fri 05 Nov 2021

    Dear Parents and Carers,

We are really looking forward to your first Parents Evening of the academic year. We firmly believe in building a strong partnership between home and school and therefore we will be holding virtual meetings using a website called SchoolCloud. This was trialled with our year R children and has been really successful. The virtual parents evening will NOT be in school or over the phone but accessed via a video link. If you do not have access to a mobile phone, computer or tablet, please call the school office.

The system is very easy to use. You will be able to book a slot with your child’s class teacher via a text which will be sent to you on Tuesday 9th November at 9am and slots will then be open until 7pm on Sunday 14th November for you to book. You will receive an email confirmation of your appointment which will include a link for you to click on just before your appointment starts.

Each year group will hold their consultations over one afternoon and evening during the week beginning the 15th November 2021. The days can be found below:
