Cliftonville Primary & Pre School is looking to appoint experienced Pre-school and / or Early Years Teaching Assistants to join our hardworking, friendly Early Years Team.
Our Pre-school offers funded and working family extended funded places to 3 and 4 year olds, for up to 56 pupils. The Pre-school is led by the School’s Early Years Leader and therefore works collaboratively with the schools Reception Classes. Our successful candidates will have the opportunity to work over both settings if desired, in the longer term.
The ideal candidates will need to have a nurturing, friendly nature with a passion for Early Years provision. They will need to be able to show empathy, a sense of motivation, and be able to support others within the Team. Good communication is essential, as is a sense of humour! You will be required to be paediatric first aid trained, or willing to undertake training.

We are excited to be looking for a new Teaching Assistant to join our fabulous support team. The role will be a mix of whole class support, small group work and some 1:1 support within the classroom and through interventions.
We have knowledgeable and supportive staff who will offer training, guidance and expertise. Our teachers and TAs work closely and collaboratively together as a team to ensure that every child can succeed.
We are looking for someone who:
· Ideally has experience working with primary aged children in a school setting but patience, resilience, kindness, a positive attitude and good sense of humour are equally as important.
· Is willing to learn how to support children with additional needs
· Can work as part of a team and also from their own initiative
· Can be flexible in response to the needs of children and the school
