School Business Manager

Full Time 37 hours per week/ 52 weeks

CAT Grade 11

 

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced School Business Manager to join our senior leadership team to be responsible for ensuring efficiences and effectiveness in all our support operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Oversee the school's budget, financial planning, and accounting processes. Ensure efficient use of resources and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Human Resources: Manage HR functions including recruitment, staff contracts, payroll, and employee relations.
  • Facilities Management: Ensure the school premises are well-maintained, safe, and conducive to learning. Oversee maintenance, health and safety, and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Administration: Lead the administrative team, ensuring effective office management, record-keeping, and communication within the school community.
  • Strategic Planning: Work closely with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team to develop and implement the school's strategic plan. Contribute to decision-making processes and school improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in financial management, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices and facilities management.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external stakeholders.
  • Relevant qualifications in business management, finance, or a related field.
