Y3 Roman Day
Year 3 marked the end of their work on the Romans in style with a fantastic performance to parents. After taking part in a Roman themed workshop at the beginning of term where the children got to dress up, handle Roman coins and act as gladiators, the children learnt about Roman life as well as designing and making their own Roman shields. They shared this learning with their parents on Thursday morning in a special assembly that involved marching to Latin commands, forming a “tortoise” and singing. It was lovely to see so many parents attending and sharing in their children’s learning. A big thank you to the Year 3 team for all their hard work in preparing the morning.
