Cliftonville Primary and Pre-School is an excellent school the children are happy and thriving. Brilliant school, fabulous staff, great senior leadership team = a happy child! We love the school and are so impressed with all of the staff who work so hard constantly it is greatly appreciated by the children and parents and carers thank you. Presence of Teachers and caretakers at pick up and drop off really help you feel safe. The well-being of the pupils is outstanding. School comes 15th in the World in maths competition!

'World Maths in Motion' day results.

 

On Wednesday our Maths in Motion club participated in World Maths in Motion Day.

 

The challenge was to create a car that would give the fastest practice lap for the Le Mans Grand Prix track. The children had to measure the race track to find the features then set up a car to make it as efficient as possible. After this they needed to calculate the fastest speed their car could go through all the features without crashing. Each member of the club competed and all practice lap speeds were recorded.

 

We are really excited to say that of the 13, 000 entries worldwide a team from our school came 15th.

 

What an amazing achievement! We are all so proud of you.
