5th January 2021
Dear Parents and Carers
This term we are aiming to enhance the remote learning experience for children by providing live lessons. In Year 1, the teachers will be providing a daily live phonics lesson starting on Monday at 10.15am. At a meet and greet on Friday 8th January, Mrs Holden will explain to you and your child how the lessons will work, establish rules and answer questions. This will be at 1.15pm.
A short video on how to access the live lessons is on the school website.

Your child’s TEAMS login details were sent out in their reading record. If you do not have their Teams log in details at home, please contact the school and we will be able to provide them.
For safeguarding and GDPR purposes, we request that families follow this code of conduct while accessing live lessons:
ALTHOUGH WE ARE ASKING FOR THE CAMERAS TO BE OFF, IF YOU DO NOT WANT YOUR CHILD TO BE PART OF THE LIVE LESSON (WHICH WILL BE RECORDED) PLEASE ACCESS THE RECORDED VERSION ONLY. THIS RECORDING CAN ONLY BE ACCESSED BY YOUR CHILD’S CLASS.
The year 1 team will also be providing a daily recorded maths, topic and English lesson on TEAMS for you to access at your leisure.
Yours sincerely
Louise Wilson
Deputy Head Teacher
