Remote learning clarification

Remote Learning

Individuals self-isolating or in quarantine

In this instance, the SLT link for the year group will email you a document with links to online learning activities for each subject. These activities match the lessons/topics taught in school for the period that your child is at home. The majority of the lessons are on the Oak Academy website which was set up by the government to provide remote learning. The lessons consist of a video led by a teacher and an online quiz to complete at the end. If we do not have your email address, then we will telephone you to discuss the best way to share the information with you.

Class, year group or school closure

In this situation, teaching will take place via MS Teams. Work will be set in the form of teacher- recorded lessons and activities which children will be able to complete and submit online. Please see the video for guidance on how to access learning on MS Teams.
