2nd October 2020
Dear Parents and Carers,
Firstly, I would like to thank you for all the support and understanding you have shown the school with your child’s transition into Pre-School and with drop off and collections at the beginning and end of session times.
As you can imagine, it has been a tricky task to ensure that nearly 300 Pre-School, Year R and 1 children and their families are as safe as they can be when using the entrances and exits to our Early Years building. As the weather gets cooler and with more rain and wind imminent, we have reviewed the drop off and collection points and now feel that we are in a position to allow the Pre-School children to be dropped off and collected from the Pre-School door.
From Monday 5th October drop off and collections will be as follows:
|
Drop off time |
Where do I drop my child off? |
Collection time |
Where do I drop my collect my child? |
Morning session |
The double green gates will be open at 8.30am and close at 8.40am. |
Walk around the front of the Early Years building and drop your child at the Pre-School door. Exit via the slope and onto the KS1 playground. |
A member of staff will unlock the single green gate on Northumberland Avenue at 11.25am for you to collect your child at 11.30am. |
Parents and carers can walk around the front of the Early Years building and collect their child from the Pre-School door. Exit via the same green entrance gate. |
Afternoon session |
The single green gate will be opened just before 12.15pm and close at 12.25pm. |
Walk around the front of the Early Years building and drop your child at the Pre-School door. Exit via the same single green gate. |
A member of staff will unlock the double green gate on Northumberland Avenue at 3.10pm for you to collect your child at 3.15pm. |
Parents and carers can walk around the front of the Early Years building and collect their child from the Pre-School door. Exit via the single green gate. |
We would ask that, in order for us to get the children into school as quickly as possible and to avoid a bottleneck of parents leaving the school site, only quick messages should be given to the Pre-School team. Any longer conversations will need to be via email pre-school@cliftonvilleprimary.co.uk or a telephone appointment made through the school office.
Kind regards,
Louise Wilson
(Deputy Head Teacher)
