It is a lovely school with a welcoming feel and a positive atmosphere. Much more visible leadership team. A feeling of pride in the school. As parents we feel really proud that our son comes to such a great school, which we knew was fabulous whether OFSTED told us or not! The trips that Mrs Glover & Mrs Sear have been putting together are a fantastic idea and hope they continue. I am extremely happy with Daniel's progress since starting at the Pre-School. He seems to have made a lovely group of friends and enjoys coming in every day. I can't wait to see him progress further. Senior & middle leaders know the strengths of their staff & deploy them accordingly. More tailored support for different groups of learners has been a really big & positive change. Thank you! The Headteacher has a clear vision for the school & her ambition for it to continue to make improvements is shared by her senior team & staff.

News of Parliament Week

During the week beginning 16th November in Term 2 we will be taking part in national Parliament Week which promotes understanding of the importance of democracy and law making in the UK.  We have a host of exciting activities planned including a number of trips and special visitors.  There will also be a coffee afternoon on Thursday 19th November with a host of sweet treats, hot and cold drinks and the opportunity for you to meet and chat with your local councillors (Cllrs Wells, Game and Jaye-Jones) – an invitation for this will follow nearer the time.  The week will end with a special celebration on Friday 20th November where children are invited to come to school in Parliament/democracy themed fancy dress.  This could range from dressing up as a past Prime Minister, a suffragette, a councillor or mayor or maybe Big Ben!  You can be as adventurous or as tame as you like.  More details about the whole week will be shared with you after half term.  Thank you to Miss Connellan for organising all the exciting events and trips.
