As part of our Easter celebrations this year the younger children at Cliftonville Primary School all made Easter bonnets. In all there were about 320 Easter bonnets, all different shapes, colours and sizes, which looked absolutely spectacular. As has become a bit of a tradition we invited people from our local community in to share the fun at Easter. We had a large group of people from Holy Trinity Church, Grosvenor Court care home and residents from Northumberland Avenue who listened to the children sing their Spring songs and also had the unenviable task of judging the best hat. They then enjoyed a cup of tea and some cake. Later in the day the parents came to see the children parade their hats - it was a hugely successful event which resulted in many smiling faces.
