We are proud to be supporting Children's Mental Health Week
(7th - 11th February) and raising money for the charity #place2be. The children will be having a variety of activities across the week highlighting positive ways to manage positive mental health. The week will end with 'Dress to empress' day, where children can come in their favourite clothes from home. If your child finds this difficult they are welcome to still come in school uniform.
We would be grateful for donations on the door or via the Place2be just giving page.

We are delighted to be taking up the offer from the National School Breakfast Programme. This is funded by the Department for Education and run by Family Action to support schools in England to provide children with a healthy breakfast at the start of the school day. This week Year R and 1 will be bringing home a pack of bagels to have for breakfast. From next week we aim to send a pack of bagels each week for every child up to the end of this academic year. We would love to hear how your children are enjoying their bagels and any recipe ideas or pictures. Feel free to send them in on homelearning@cliftonvilleprimary.co.uk
Below you will find tips, ideas, information, recipes, videos and quizzes to help you with morning routines.

This change came into effect in England on Monday 17 January and applies to all positive cases, regardless of vaccination status.
People who are self-isolating with COVID-19 have the option to reduce their isolation period after 5 full days if they test negative with an LFD test on both day 5 and day 6 and they do not have a temperature. For example, if they test negative on the morning of day 5 and the morning of day 6, they can return to their education or childcare setting immediately on day 6.
The first test must be taken no earlier than day 5 of the self-isolation period, and the second must be taken the following day. All test results should be reported to NHS Test and Trace.
If the result of either test is positive, they should continue to self-isolate until they get negative results from two LFD tests on consecutive days or until they have completed 10 full days of self-isolation, whichever is earliest.
The new rules also apply to people who are already isolating – so if someone was already isolating before Monday 17 January, they can take LFD tests on day 5 and 6 and if they are both negative and they have no temperature they can end their isolation.
Anyone who is unable to take LFD tests or anyone who continues to have a temperature will need to complete the full 10-day period of self-isolation.
Further information on self-isolation for those with COVID-19 is available.
To confirm that from today anyone who now receives a positive lateral flow test but has no COVID-19 symptoms will no longer have to take a PCR to confirm the result. If you have symptoms that you should still go and get the PCR to confirm.
