PTFA Year 1 Disco

Our events for the year got off to an incredible start with the Year 1 Disco on Thursday 15th October. Over one hundred year 1 children came for an hour after school and they all had a brilliant time. It was amazing to see them all getting involved dancing with each other (teachers, too!) and jumping around throwing balloons and bursting bubbles. The event raised a fantastic £309 and we were especially grateful for the number of pay-it-forward tickets that were bought; Year 1 parents and carers are a generous bunch! Our DJ also said he got some very cool song requests; he was particularly impressed by a child asking for a song from West Side Story.
