Cliftonville Primary and Pre-School is an excellent school the children are happy and thriving. The dedication and hard work from the entire school team is outstanding and clear to see. I am extremely happy with Daniel's progress since starting at the Pre-School. He seems to have made a lovely group of friends and enjoys coming in every day. I can't wait to see him progress further. Presence of Teachers and caretakers at pick up and drop off really help you feel safe. The well-being of the pupils is outstanding. They have gone above and beyond to make sure my children have felt safe at school. My child is happy to come to school, the staff are visible and approachable. It is a lovely school with a welcoming feel and a positive atmosphere. Highly visible leadership team. A feeling of pride in the school. Supportive school for both parents and children. As parents we feel really proud that our son comes to such a great school, which we knew was fabulous whether OFSTED told us or not!

CLASS TEACHER

Required - September 2022

Come & join our OUTSTANDING team at Cliftonville Primary & Pre-School.

We are looking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and innovative Class Teacher to join us from September, who can display passion and excitement in their practice and engage all pupils in their learning and development.

Our last Ofsted inspection, November 2016, judged all aspects of the school to be outstanding but for us, outstanding doesn't mean perfect and there is still work to be done!

There are good career progression routes for teachers in the early stages of their careers and high-quality continuing professional development including our bespoke middle leaders programme and nationally accredited courses NPQML/SL/H. As part of Coastal Academies Trust, we also offer professional development opportunities across the trust. We were asked to contribute to DfE research on CPD, published November 2018, as we have a much higher retention rate of teachers than the national picture.

We are looking for the right candidate to come and join our team, preferably in KS2, but please highlight in your application whether your preference is KS1 or KS2.

It is a really exciting place to work and we are at the cutting edge of some very innovative and exemplary practice.  Staff report feeling well-supported and mentoring for newly qualified teachers is excellent.  The senior leadership team tries hard to ensure demands placed on staff are reasonable and proportionate to outcomes for children and that the important job of teaching is genuinely balanced with having a life beyond the school gates.

The school reserves the right to bring forward the closing date if sufficient applications have been received.

Please come and have a look at us in action - just about everyone who visits, no matter what post, applies as our children 'sell the school' much better than any advert!

Closing Date:- 15th May 2022

Interviews - Friday 20th May 2022
